Background Originally elected to the City Council in January 2002, he is now serving his third term in office. Seibert has taken on additional duties serving as Mayor Pro Tem, filling in for the Mayor when he is unavailable. He is a longtime member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No. 191.
Priorities Public safety, education, development standards and more responsiveness by government to citizens. Through citizen involvement, Seibert hopes to see that police and fire services, schools and city services keep pace with growth. Seibert served on the Graffiti Abatement Committee and worked with citizens to oppose a comprehensive land use plan amendment that would have allowed apartments to be built at Grove Street & 67th Avenue NE.
