Maintenance Worker I - Parks

Full time, 9-month position - $3,371-$4,281 p/mo. + benefits
The Marysville Parks & Recreation Department is accepting applications for the nine-month, full-time position of Maintenance Worker I. This position performs a variety of basic duties related to installation, inspection, maintenance, repair, and servicing of municipal parks, grounds, facilities and rights-of-way. Salary: $3,371-$4,281 per month + benefits. Qualifications: 1 year experience performing related duties in parks, grounds & facilities maintenance; high school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination. WA State Drivers’ license required. Soccer Referee (Part-Time)

Part-Time Soccer Referee - $10.50-$11.75 p/hr
Soccer Referees are needed for The City of Marysville Parks and Recreation 7 v 7 Spring Soccer League. Certified or uncertified individuals are needed for weekday evening games, April 26 to June 11. Prefer candidates be at least 16 years or older. Application packets are available at City Hall, 1049 State Ave. All applications must be received by the Human Resources Department. Public Safety Positions

The City of Marysville contracts with PublicSafetyTesting.com to provide a more cost-effective, convenient and flexible method for applying and testing for public safety positions such as police and custody officers. Entry-level job applicants must return their application and other necessary documentation to PublicSafetyTesting.com; applications for lateral-entry positions should returned to the City of Marysville.

Community Service Officer

The City of Marysville is establishing an eligibility list for Community Service Officer in the Police Department. This position performs law enforcement functions regarding animal control and parking violations, issues citations or warnings, assists police officers as requested in non-emergency situations, writes reports of some not in progress misdemeanor violations, may testify in court, and performs special assignments. $3787 - $4809 per month + benefits. Testing will be conducted for a limited period of time through PublicSafetyTesting.com and will include a written and physical agility exam. Police Officer (Lateral Level)

Incentive package offered to Lateral Level Police Officer candidates:

The City of Marysville is offering an incentive package to qualified Lateral Level Police Officer candidates. The incentive totals $5,000 over three years of continued service. Officers will be offered $1,000 per year at the end of the first two years of service, and $3,000 at the end of the third year of service. Additionally, a Lateral Police Candidate may be allowed to accrue vacation time up to the amount accrued for a five year employee.
