Sharon Kanehan new Marysville Parks Board member

The Marysville City Council on Feb. 12 confirmed the appointment of Sharon Kanehan to the Marysville Parks, Culture and Recreation Board. Kanehan is a retired elementary school teacher who now cares for young grandchildren and works part-time as a substitute teacher in Marysville. Her appointment to complete a term ending Feb. 28, 2019, was recommended by Mayor Jon Nehring. 

The Parks, Culture and Recreation Board is an advisory body to the City Council and Parks, Culture and Recreation Director. It meets every other month at Jennings Park Barn.
