there maps for sale? - There are zoning, comprehensive plan and streets
maps for sale. Cost is $11.00 for large maps and $3.00 for small maps.

Do I
need a building permit? - Any structure over 120 sq. ft. or any addition
to an existing structure will require a building permit. Signs, demolitions,
grading, mechanical or electrical work, and re-roofing will also require
a permit.
Is my
residence inside the city limits? - Refer to the city
map to see if your residence is inside the city limits.
Are
there wetlands on a property I'm interested in? - The only way to know
if there are wetlands on a given property is to have a wetland survey
done. The city maintains a list of qualified wetland consultants. Reports
from consultants on this list will be accepted by the City; reports
from other consultants may be challenged.
Do you
have a drawing of my septic system? - The Snohomish County Health District
has jurisdiction over septic systems. Drawings of your septic system
may be found through their on-line system at http://www.snohd.org
