The Ken Baxter Senior Community Center is located on the beautiful grounds of Comeford Park in the heart of downtown Marysville. The Center has a variety of recreational opportunities for you to enjoy. Take part in day trips, extended tours, fitness classes, arts and craft workshops, bridge, pinochle, other card games, free classes, movies, AARP meetings, genealogy, Mah jong, woodcarving, driftwood sculpture, gourd art, concerts, volunteer opportunities, monthly luncheons, legal assistance, special events, presentations, foot care, other health and wellness programs and much more.
Marysville's Ken Baxter Senior/Community Center has become a favorite place to be amongst senior citizens and other community members since it opened in October 1997. There is no set age limit to participate in most of our programs and we are proud to offer intergenerational activities as well. You do not need to be a member to participate in our activities. If you are interested you can complete a free membership application and you will receive our "Community Chatter" newsletter six times per year.
The center is available to rent for special events and meetings. Evening and weekend time slots are available for you bridal shower, birthday party, memorial gathering or birthday celebrations.
