Marysville Parks and Recreation is proud to present the 2009 Verizon FiOS Sounds of Summer Concert Series! The series consists of a total of 12 free outdoor concerts - six of which will take place at Jennings Memorial Park on Fridays at 7:00 p.m. and six concerts on Thursdays at noon in Comeford Park. These crowd-pleasing concerts are a great way to celebrate summer fun while relaxing to the sounds of some of the Pacific Northwest’s most talented artists. | Live in Jennings Memorial Park Lions Centennial Pavilion 6915 Armar Road July 10 - Aug. 14 The “Marysville Gorge” on Allen Creek in Jennings Park comes alive with summer music July 10 for a six-week series of free Friday night concerts, with outdoor performances starting at 7 p.m. in the Lions Centennial Pavilion, Jennings Memorial Park’s natural amphitheater. Bring lawn chairs and blankets, and settle down for a night of music under the stars. Concessions will be available, or pack the cooler and bring your own favorite food and beverages. The opening concert on Thursday, July 9 features A Well Known Stranger, followed July 16 featuring Danny Vernon as Elvis.
