  4. Geocaching for Beginners

    September 9, 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ Jennings Memorial Park

    Geocaching is a family friendly, high tech, real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Join long time cacher, Margaret Flute as you learn about how to get started, equipment needs, types of caches, and how to log a find. At the conclusion of the presentation, you will head into Jennings Park with GPS devices to find your first cache. Bring your own smartphone or GPS, however, it is not necessary for Participation in the workshop. All ages are invited. Youth 14 and under, bring your parents. Dress for the weather and wear shoes for easy trail walking. Pre-registration is required. Online registration is not available.

  5. Touch-A-Truck

    September 13, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ Asbery Field

    The City of Marysville invites you to Touch-A-Truck on Saturday, Sept. 13, an event that puts your kids in the driver's seat of Marysville's biggest heavy-duty rigs. Honk the horns, set off sirens, kick the tires on a variety of big rigs - dump trucks, backhoe, vactor truck, police vehicles, street sweeper, Marysville Fire District fire engines, garbage trucks, an aid car and more. Come join the fun! Marysville Noon Rotary Club will offer special activities for kids, and Marysville Kiwanis will have tasty treats for sale. For information please call (360) 363-8401. Please bring a donation for the Marysville Food Bank. No pets. please.

  6. Marysville Multicultural Fair

    September 20, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

    Visit the 1st Annual Marysville Multicultural Fair Sept. 20 to celebrate diversity in the Marysville and Tulalip communities, and the many cultures who call the area home. The free event will be in downtown Comeford Park, 514 Delta Ave. Enjoy music and dance from around the world on stage in the Rotary Pavilion, experience traditions from other lands through demonstrations and displays, and enjoy the food court where exotic ethnic foods will be available for purchase. The event is being coordinated by the Mayor’s Diversity Advisory Committee and Marysville Arts Coalition. The Coalition will announce and display the winning entries from an all-ages diversity arts contest earlier this year.

    You are invited to the Teddy Bear Tea Party! You and your child will love this enchanting afternoon of sipping tea, nibbling tasty treats, creating a tea purse and listening to a tea time story. Dress up, bring your teddy bear and let Attic Secrets and Marysville Parks & Recreation give you an afternoon to remember! The tea will take place at Attic Secrets, 4229 76th St. NE #101.   9. Basketball for Youth Final Week to Register

    September 29, 8:00 AM - October 3, 5:00 PM @ All practices/games at Marysville/Lakewood Schools

    This is the final week to register for basketball! Our program runs December-March. The league is for students in 1st-8th grade and focuses on basic fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a recreation league environment. Teams will have one practice and one game per week. Registration is now open through Friday, October 3rd. A mandatory player's skills evaluation will be held for boys and girls in grades 6th-8th on Saturday, November 1 at Totem Middle School.

  1. Kindermusik

    September 16, 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM @ Marysville Library, Large Meeting Room

    Kindermusik taught by instructors Chris Floyd and Shelley Metcalf is a music and movement program for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and big kids. Your child will play, listen, and dance through musical activities specifically designed to stimulate early childhood development and strengthen neural pathways in your child's mind. Material fees are payable to the instructor at the first class.
