    March 25, 2017, 2:00 PM @ Marysville Opera House

Explore a classical story from a fresh perspective through the first ever live opera performance by the Seattle Opera! Cinderella En Espana is inspired by various global retellings of the timeless rags-to-riches tale. Set in the culturally vibrant coastal city of Barcelona, it provides a lively, modern-day bilingual backdrop to this deceptively simple story about the beauty of kindness and the ugliness of mistreating others. Free! Co-sponsored by Sno-Isle Libraries-Marysville. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Doors open at 1:30 pm.

  2. Classic Movies at the Opera House - Take Me Out To The Ballgame

    March 27, 2017, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Marysville Opera House

It's time to play ball! Take Me Out to the Ballgame is set in 1906 and stars Gene Kelly, Esther Williams and Frank Sinatra. This musical comedy revolves around a fictional baseball team, the Wolves, and two of its players, Kelly and Sinatra, who are also part time vaudevillians. The ball club's status quo is turned upside down when the team winds up under new ownership, let alone that of woman (Williams) that they both end up falling over! Classic Movies return to the Historic Marysville Opera House on the fourth Monday of each month. From musicals to comedies, thrillers to love stories, the Opera House is the perfect venue to watch the timeless classics. Popcorn and refreshments will be available for purchase.
