The city offers rate discounts on city utilities and a rebate on some utility taxes other than city utilities to eligible low-income senior and disabled citizens. Apply now for the Utility Rate Discount or Utility Tax Credit Rebate (see rebate process below)
Recently repaired a water leak? Submit our Leak Adjustment form once you’ve repaired your water leak so our Utility Billing staff can determine the appropriate adjustment.
Tax Credit Rebate Process:
APPLY JAN 2, 2021 – FEB 28, 2021
The City of Marysville offers a Utility Tax and Water/Sewer Rebate for 2020 to those customers who have already been approved for a utility discount. The utility tax rebate is for customers inside city limits only, as outside city customers do not pay City utility tax. Due to the pandemic, the city is collecting copies only and will be shredded when completed. Please provide copies of the 2020 year for the following:
- PUD (electricity)
- Telephone (Frontier)
- Puget Sound Energy (natural gas)
If you pay the water and sewer to the landlord or property management company, you may still qualify for the rebate. Provide a written statement from your landlord/property management company stating the water/sewer is included in the rent/space rent. Please complete the form and submit all documentation to City Hall before February 28th, 2021. Applications received after February 28, 2021 will not be accepted.
** City Hall is closed to the public. You may drop off your rebate packet in our Utility Drop Box (brown box), located behind the City Hall, or you can mail the packet to the City Hall, at 1049 State Ave, Marysville WA 98270. **
