City of Marysville Request for Proposals: Right Away Acquisition Services under the WSDOT LAG for First Phase of the 88th Street Corridor Widening

The first phase of the Project includes widening of 88th Street from State Avenue to 55th Street, NE, including the addition of a two-way turn lane, sidewalks, gutters and curbs and separated bike trail.

SCOPE: Real estate services related to establishing the revised ROW. The total project includes 57 fee acquisitions, 82 temporary construction easements and other related matters in two phases of work. The total estimated budget for this work including the cost of real estate to be acquired is $3 million.
CRITERIA: Applicants must understand the overall project. The key personnel and the firm must possess relevant experience and qualifications to meet a schedule, plan and execute outreach and acquisition work, maintain records, coordinate with the City, research title and develop appraisals, as well as provide expert testimony during litigation if required from relevant past performance, in-house expertise all consistent with the WSDOT/FHWA standards and utilizing effective and respectful outreach and property owner communication.
The City, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, will assure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement will assure disadvantaged business enterprises were or will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color or national origin in consideration for an award.
