Neighbors watching out for neighbors, helping prevent crime in their neighborhoods. That’s the simple message behind Marysville’s Neighborhood Watch Program (NWP).
Marysville Police Department’s Crime Prevention Unit manages the city’s NWP, and decided to proactively promote the program in 2009, after statistics showed an increase in neighborhood-related crimes, including home burglaries, car prowls, vehicle thefts, graffiti and vandalism.
Orientations for new Neighborhood Watch Program members are scheduled as needed in the Marysville Public Safety Building, 1635 Grove Street.
To schedule an orientation, please call Byron or Kim Muck at (360) 363-8325.
