Entry-level police or custody officers
The City of Marysville contracts with Public Safety Testing to conduct written and physical ability testing for entry-level police and custody officers. See our entry-level custody officer for more information. Visit http://www.publicsafetytesting.com/ to select a testing date, time and location.
Lateral police or custody officers
Please fill out an online application through our NeoGov site using the link provided below. Applicants who meet the minimum position requirements will be invited to participate in an oral board interview*. A testing fee is due on the day of your oral board. Applicants who score 70 percent or higher on the oral board will be placed on an unranked eligibility list. See our lateral-level custody officer flyer for more information.

Police Officer - Lateral
Experienced Lateral Level Police Officers may be eligible for a $10,000 incentive package. This incentive will be paid $5,000 at time of hire and an additional $5,000 upon successful completion of their probation.
