City grants $111K to promote tourism in Marysville

Ten programs supporting tourism promotion in Marysville will collectively receive nearly $111,111 in tourism grant funds next year. The Marysville City Council on Monday approved the funding recommendations of the city’s Hotel/Motel Committee. 

The City annually solicits grant applications for projects proposed to promote tourism in Marysville. The Hotel/Motel Committee reviews qualifying applications and recommends which projects to fund with lodging taxes collected. 2018 recipients, projects and funding amounts are:
