Public hearing on affordable housing & more June 4 in Marysville

What are the most important needs for low- and moderate-income people and neighborhoods in our community? The City of Marysville is partnering with Snohomish County, City of Everett, the Everett Housing Authority and Housing Authority of Snohomish County to create the five-year Consolidated Plan that directs the jurisdictions on how federal funds should be spent.

A public hearing is scheduled form 5 to 6:30 p.m. next Tuesday, June 4, at Marysville City Hall, 1049 State Ave.

Categories for potential federal funding include affordable housing, public facilities, services, infrastructure and economic development. If you are unable to attend a meeting, written comments are also invited. Send comments by June 7 to Debra May at debra.may@snoco.org or Snohomish County Human Services, 3000 Rockefeller Ave. M/S 305, Everett WA 98201.
