Marysville RV dump closed for construction

Effective immediately, the City of Marysville RV dump near the intersection of State Avenue and 1st Street, near the Public Works building at 80 Columbia Avenue, is closed to allow construction of improvements for the 1st Street Bypass project.

RV owners may access the dump station at the Smokey Point rest stop on northbound and southbound Interstate 5 at milepost 207. You can also find other RV dump locations at websites such as https://www.sanidumps.com.

The city’s contractor has been working since May to build a gravel and structural earth wall to provide the base of the new 1st Street Bypass that will provide a new alternate route for commuters and future access to Interstate 5 from State Avenue. Final paving is expected next year with the work likely to be completed between fall 2020 and early 2021.
