Investigation into Murder of Marysville Man Continues

Suspect 2

Marysville—November 9th, 2:00 PM

The black Nissan Altima with Colorado license plates mentioned in our original release has been located and is no longer at large. We thank the public for all the tips we have received thus far.

Extensive examination of video footage has revealed that there was a second subject at the scene at the time of the murder. We are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying this unidentified male.

It is unknown if this second male is armed, but he should be considered dangerous. Do not approach him. If you can identify this subject, please call 911 and ask to speak with a Marysville Detective.

“It is our hope, and in the best interest and safety of all involved, that Nick Torns turns himself in to police,” said Detective Sergeant Jim Maples. “We know he has a story to tell, and we would like to hear it.”

If you have any additional information on the whereabouts of Nick Torns or the identity and whereabouts of the second male spotted leaving the scene of this crime, please contact police immediately.

Our investigation continues.
