In the future, downtown Marysville could include more mixed-use commercial and housing options to take advantage of transportation and transit investments and build on the city’s efforts to revitalize the downtown and Ebey waterfront areas.
The Draft Downtown Master Plan and Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement and Planned Action are now available for public review and comment. The city proposes to update the Master Plan that was originally adopted in 2009, and to adopt a form-based code that updates zoning and design standards.
The downtown study area encompasses about 524 acres bounded by Grove Street to the north, Armar Road and 47th Avenue NE on the east, Ebey Slough to the south and Interstate 5 on the west.
