As our nights get longer and we look ahead to the holidays, Marysville is bringing back its popular Electric Lights Parade. Part of Merrysville for the Holidays on Saturday, Dec. 4, the evening parade features a flotilla of vehicles, floats and walking groups decked out in glistening holiday lights. We have it on good word that Santa will be there, too! The parade begins at 6:30 p.m. and travels south on State Avenue from Marysville Municipal Court to Comeford Park.
To join the parade, please register by Nov. 29 at https://apm.activecommunities.com/marysvillewa/Activity_Search/6447. Cost is $20 per entry (individual or group). Participants should plan to arrive at the courthouse parking lot by 5 p.m. on parade day.
Prior to the parade beginning at 4 p.m., Comeford Park will host family-friendly activities including food and craft vendors, photo selfie stations and a holiday bonfire. Businesses and organizations are welcome to join the festivities for free by offering giveaways, kids’ crafts or photo ops. Vendors may apply to sell food or handmade crafts for a $30 fee.
