Notice of Public Hearing Before the Planning Commission CA22-016 CA22-019

Notice is hereby given that an open record public hearing will be held before the Planning Commission on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at 6:30 PM to consider the following proposals:

File Number:                    CA22-016

Project Title:                    Residential Density Incentive (RDI) and Planned Residential Development (PRD) Open Space Amendments   

Proponent:                       City of Marysville 

Project Location:             Non-project action. Standards apply city-wide. 

Proposal:                          Amendments to the Marysville Municipal Code (MMC) pertaining to Chapters 22A.020, Definitions, 22C.090, Residential Density Incentives and 22G.080, Planned Residential Developments, to provide greater clarity on what is required to earn open space residential density incentives, and comply with the open space requirements for Planned Residential Developments.

Project Title:                    Public notice requirements for land use applications 

Proponent:                       City of Marysville  

Project Location:             Non-project action. Standards apply city-wide.     

Proposal:                          Amendments to the MMC pertaining to the public notice provisions outlined primarily in Title 22G, Administration and Procedures. The amendments are to eliminate posting requirements at public places such as City Hall and post offices, and to promote internal consistency and organization within the code.

PUBLIC NOTICE:   The Planning Commission Meeting is a hybrid in-person and virtual meeting. Commissioners, staff and the public are welcome to attend in-person or via Zoom. The meeting will be conducted at 501 Delta Avenue, 2nd Floor – City Hall Council Chambers

Anyone wishing to provide written or verbal public comment must pre-register by contacting the Staff Contact for the agenda item outlined above by 4PM on Monday, January 9, 2023.  If you wish to provide verbal public comment, you will need to provide your name, address, e-mail and phone number for the public record.
