Lakewood schools host Mayor Nehring’s Coffee Klatch June 28

Mayor's Coffee Klatch June 28, 6 pm at Lakewood HS, 17023 11th Ave NE

The Lakewood School District and City of Marysville invite you to a Coffee Klatch with Mayor Jon Nehring on Wednesday, June 28, at 6 p.m. at Lakewood High School, 17023 11th Ave. N.E.

Bring your questions! We’ll bring coffee and light refreshments. This is an opportunity for residents to ask questions and hear about what’s new at the city.

“With so much going on in the growing Lakewood neighborhood, I welcome this opportunity to come visit and hear your ideas and concerns,” Mayor Nehring said. “In my work with Superintendent Peacock, I know the city and Lakewood schools share a mutual commitment to serving our residents, families and students.”

“I am excited for the opportunity to build more bridges between our school district and the City of Marysville,” said Superintendent Scott Peacock. “Mayor Nehring and I have both recognized that the heart and identity of Lakewood must be sustained as we move into the future. Engaging community voices is critical to that work.”

Mayor Nehring holds informal Coffee Klatch sessions several times a year. City staff are also on hand to help answer your questions.
