Hazard Mitigation Plan

Marysville Emergency Management is developing a Hazard Mitigation Plan to strengthen our community's resilience to disasters. While we can't prevent hazards from occurring, this plan will identify strategies to help minimize their impact on lives, property, businesses, and the environment. We invite all community members to share their input through public meetings and our online survey. Your participation is vital in shaping a safer, more disaster-resilient Marysville for everyone!


The draft 2026 Hazard Mitigation Plan is available for review and open for comment. If you would like to submit any comments you may do so on the Hazard Mitigation Plan draft comment form or by contacting Sarah LaVelle at preparedness@marysvillewa.gov or 360-363-8096. Public comment will be open through December 3, 2025.
