Graffiti is a very unwelcome sight in Marysville, taking away from the beauty of the city and causing damage to areas of the community.

Local law enforcement works to track and respond promptly to reports of graffiti within city limits. We know that graffiti and the impact of vandalism can negatively affect our community.

Report Graffiti

If you see graffiti, report it through the Marysville Graffiti Report Form.

You can also report a case of graffiti by calling 911 or the non-emergency line at (425) 407-3999. 

Contact the Washington State Department of Transportation at to report graffiti along any Washington State interstate or state routes.  

Next Steps

1) File a police report.

2) Take a picture of the graffiti (for homeowner’s insurance and/ or police report).

3) Contact your insurance agent (if you choose to file a claim).

4) Remove the graffiti on your property according to city guidelines.

Preventing Future Graffiti

The more quickly graffiti is removed, the less likely it is to reoccur. There are steps you can take to make your property harder to vandalize.

  • Use landscaping or a fence to create a barrier around your property.
  • Keep your property well-lit an install motion-sensor lighting.
  • Install surveillance cameras to monitor your property.
  • Apply anti-graffiti coating to surfaces whenever possible.
