    Marysville residents, let's do some spring cleaning! Free disposal or recycling of many items including bagged trash, yard waste, scrap metal, appliances, clean wood and tires, car and marine batteries, fluorescent light tubes & compact bulbs, electronics and e-waste.   3. Shred-A-Thon

    April 28, 2018, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Marysville City Hall

    Marysville residents may bring up to six standard-size file boxes for free shredding. Marysville Sunrise Rotary will accept clean Styrofoam for recycling. Marysville Arts & Tech High School will accept donations of old computers and electronic devices (computer towers, laptops, working flat screen monitors, cell phones, keyboards, mice, tablets, e-readers, digital cameras and gaming consoles. Electronics that cannot be recycled are printers, broken flat screen monitors and CRT monitors). Thank you to additional event sponsors Home Street Bank, Marysville School District and North County Outlook.

  1. Planning Commission meeting

    The seven-member Marysville Planning Commission serves as an advisory board to the Mayor and Marysville City Council, with its primary responsibilities being to prepare the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and Shoreline Management Master Plan. Planning commissioners are appointed to six-year terms by the mayor and confirmed by the City Council. At least a majority of the commissioners must live within Marysville city limits.

    The Hearing Examiner hears and decides certain project applications and administrative appeals of land use decisions. The examiner is vested with the duty and authority to hold public hearings and render decisions on the following matters: Preliminary Plats, Appeals, Rezones, Binding Site Plan approvals, Zoning code variances, Conditional Use permits, Conditional Shoreline permits, Complaints, etc.
