What is an inclusive playground? According to Landscape Structures, an inclusive playground goes beyond wheelchair accessibility and ensures children and adults of all abilities have play options and can choose how they want to engage each activity.
“The City is committed to providing welcoming parks and playgrounds that everyone in the community can enjoy,” said Assistant Parks Director Dave Hall. “We hope to bring awareness of what inclusive playgrounds are in this event.”
