Marysville – 07.14.17 06:00 am

The Marysville investigation into a fatal hit and run collision has led to the discovery of a security video from a nearby business. Although the video doesn’t show the actual collision, it does show there were people in the area that are possible witnesses. The video shows two white box trucks and a light colored passenger car on the northbound onramp to I-5. The security video shows these vehicles to have been in the vicinity at the time of the collision.

This collision occurred in the early morning on July 6th between 4:25 am and 4:35 am at the entrance to the on–ramp of northbound I-5 at 4th St. This collision took the life of a 52 year old Marysville man, Scott H. Williams.

We know the Community Transit Park & Ride at 5th St and Ash Ave is a busy Park & Ride. If anyone who was in the vicinity of the collision or in the adjacent Park & Ride between the hours of 4:25 am and 4:35 am, they may have seen something and not even realize it is important to the investigation.
