NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT AN APPLICATION WAS MADE FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPOSAL AND THAT THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE, BEING LEAD AGENCY FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPOSAL, EXPECTS TO ISSUE A REVISED DNS FOR THIS PROJECT USING THE OPTIONAL DNS PROVCESS OUTLINED IN WAC 197-11-355:

Minor modification to an approved Conditional Use Permit for a Master Planned Senior Community (MPSC) to expand the project boundaries by approximately 0.33 acres together with a concurrent rezone from General Commercial (GC) to R-12 Multi-family, Low Density (R-12) of the 0.33 acres to accommodate additional parking. A MPSC provides a variety of living options to enable residents to ‘age in place’. Besides the additional row of parking, which is proposed along the north property line, the primary change is to reduce the units for the project from 80 units to 63 units. Specifically, eight (8) single family detached homes are proposed to replace 25 multi-family units, which were previously proposed.  The proposal also includes amendments to the community building and on-site recreation and open space areas. 

State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) review was conducted for the original application. The City of Marysville, being lead agency for the NON-PROJECT ACTION, expects to issue a revised DNS using the optional DNS process in WAC 197-11-355.   This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of this proposal. A copy of the threshold determination for this project may be obtained upon request. 

Public Comment Period: Written comments must be submitted to the contact person listed below by 5:00 PM on May 12, 2025.
