4th of July and Celebrate America 250
Celebrate America's 250th Birthday in a Big Way!
In 2026 we are joining communities across the nation, but our celebration has a hometown spirit all its own. The streets of Marysville will become festive starting in late spring with beloved annual flower baskets adorning the streets, parks and city buildings in Americana colors, along with American flag banners hung along State Ave. Join the celebration with your own festive adornments at your residence or business.
May 14: Jigsaw Puzzle Competition - National Parks of the U.S.A.
June 1 - 14: Historical Marysville Scavenger Hunt with stops at the following historical locations: Marysville Opera House, Olympic View Park, Comeford Water Tower, Mother Nature's Window, Gehl House at Jennings Park, the Historical Society Museum and 3rd Street.
June 4: Trivia Night at 5 Nights - Categories: History of Marysville and American History, hosted by the Marysville Historical Society. Enjoy a specialty brew celebrating the USA.
June 6: Patriotic Puppy Parade at Poochella
June 14: Flag Day Celebration-Voices of Liberty at the Marysville Opera House. Youth performances featuring Americana songs, readings of the Declaration of Independence, patriotic art displays and crafting stations. The Marysville Historical Society, Community Transit and Sno-Isle Library will share their history in Marysville.
July 4: Patriotic Paddle Battle Pickleball Tournament at Jennings Park
July 4: Celebration at Ebey Waterfront with fireworks show. Food Trucks, face painting, word scramble scavenger hunt, Wrestlers and live music with the Chris Eger Band.
July 18: Homerun Derby Day at Cedar Field
September 26: Afternoon Tea at the Marysville Historical Society
October 2: Vintage Speakeasy with jazz music at the Marysville Opera House
4th of July - Independence Day Celebration:
Food trucks and festive photo opportunities will be available within Ebey Waterfront Park and along 1st St. from 6-10pm prior to the fireworks show.
A fun scavenger hunt will be available within the park. Please visit the City of Marysville tent for instructions and prizes.
Whether you join the fun at Ebey or watch the show from home, we encourage you to come down and grab some delicious pre-fireworks dinner from one of our amazing food vendors. Food vendors will be parked in the Maryfest parking lot on the corner of 1st and State, as well as inside of Ebey Waterfront Park, making it easy to grab your picnic-to-go. We look forward to seeing you there!
6:00-10:00pm: Food Trucks, and Scavenger Hunt
7:00-8:00pm: Wrestling with Americana themed performers.
8:00-9:30pm: Chris Eger Band live music
10:00pm: Fireworks show (approximately)
Join us at Ebey Waterfront Park or one of several great viewing locations around the city and watch the spectacular live fireworks display light up the south end of Marysville (approx. 10pm)!
