NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT AN APPLICATION WAS MADE FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPOSAL:  The City of Marysville is requesting State Environmental Policy Act Review (SEPA) for installation of roadway improvements of approximately 900 lineal of 156^th Street NE between Smokey Point Blvd. and west of Hayho Creek. Improvements include expanding the roadway from 2 lanes to 5 lanes, including curb and gutter, landscape strip, sidewalk, stormwater conveyance, illumination, signage, landscaping, and pavement markings.

As lead agency for the above referenced proposals, the City of Marysville expects to issue a DNS utilizing the Optional DNS process outlined in WAC 197-11-355. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of this proposal. The proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination for this proposal may be obtained upon request.  A decision on this application will be made within 120 days from the date of completeness.  

Existing Environmental Documents:  SEPA Checklist, Critical Areas Report, Geotechnical Report, Drainage Report, JARPA, Biological Assessment, Cultural Resources Assessment, Hydrologic Simulation Program Fortran, Hayho Creek Culvert Analysis, and BMP Alternative Analysis

Public Comment Period:  Written comments must be submitted to the contact person listed below by

5:00 PM on April 12, 2024.
