NOTICE OF JOINT CITY COUNCIL –
PLANNING COMMISSION WORK SESSION
Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Chapter 42.30 RCW, Open Public Meetings Act, that the Marysville City Council will be joining the Planning Commission for a joint work session on Monday, September 25, 2023 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. The focus of the work session will be to discuss growth strategies for the 2024 Comprehensive Plan update, specifically where and how to accommodate anticipated population and housing growth. You are also invited to learn more about the 2024 Comprehensive Plan update at the following website: www.marysvillewa.gov/1211/2024-Comprehensive-Plan-Update.

Public Notice: The joint work session is a hybrid in-person and virtual meeting. Council, Commissioners, staff and the public are welcome to attend in-person or via Zoom. The work session will be conducted at 501 Delta Avenue, 2nd Floor – City Hall Council Chambers.
Anyone wishing to provide written comments may email the comments to the Staff Contact above. Verbal public comments will be accepted at the end of the work session if time allows; anyone wishing to provide verbal public comment must pre-register by contacting the Staff Contact above by noon on Monday, September 25, 2023. If you wish to provide verbal public comment, you will need to provide your name, address, e-mail and phone number for the public record. There will be a regularly scheduled City Council meeting that follows the joint City Council-Planning Commission work session that allows regular public comments.
