Marysville residents are invited to join our virtual celebration of National Night Out on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
National Night Out is a nationwide event that began in 1984; each year, communities across the country participate. Marysville is proud to be one of them! Because we are unable to promote large gatherings at this time, we're joining communities throughout the country who are introducing a new way for you and your neighbors to engage. Sign up now to talk with a Marysville Police officer or city staff about topics that matter most to you.
This year, we are encouraging residents to come together online with their neighbors. It's well known that neighborhood events provide an opportunity to get to know each other better while promoting a spirit of community. And neighbors looking out for each other is a powerful tool against crime.
When you and your neighbors confirm at least five households interested in participating, you can register for a neighborhood Zoom chat on Tuesday, Oct. 6. Marysville Police and city staff will host online conferences using Zoom for neighborhoods that register by Wednesday, Sept. 30. Neighborhood events will be scheduled based on availability the evening of Tuesday, Oct. 6, and prioritized by first come, first serve registration. To participate, your neighborhood must register using the link below by Sept. 30.
When registering, please include your preferred time for your neighborhood event and any specific topics or concerns you'd like to address during the call. Once your event is registered and availability has been confirmed for your desired meeting time, we will send you an email to share with your neighbors that includes the information for participating in the online conference. Participants can access the meeting using a computer, tablet or smartphone. A dial-in option is also available.
