 Responsibilities

• Creating a one-stop shop for developers, citizens and property-owners to obtain information, permits, online payment of residential permits (new contractors must contact the Building Department at 360-363-8100 to set up their account) and assistance on all aspects of land use and land development
• Enhancing customer service by providing easy access to staff and planning and building documents while streamlining the permit process
• Facilitating compliance with the Growth Management Act of 1990
• Providing consistency and predictability of land development from the initial planning stages all the way to final approval
