AARP Tax Assistance - Anyone needing assistance with tax preparation may call to make an appointment with AARP. Appointments for taxpayers living in Washington can be requested by calling 888-687-2277 and leaving a voicemail. A volunteer will call back to set up an appointment. Assistance may also be requested through the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide website (www.aarpfoundation.org/taxaide)

Medical Equipment Loan Program at the Stilly Valley Center. They have a variety of donated durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and portable commodes, in addition to free (not expected to be returned) items such as incontinency briefs, pads, and daily care items. SHIBA (Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors) serving Medicare Clients of Snohomish and Skagit Counties and Camano Island. SHIBA is made of a group of volunteers who help educate people about their Medicare choices.
